Astrid Bowlby, a Visiting Critic in the Certificate/BFA program has been selected amongst a few other artists to be acquired by the West Collection for the West Collects 2012.
Astrid Bowlby received her MFA from PAFA and a BFA from the University of Southern Maine. She has attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the Art Students League. Bowlby has received Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Fellowships for both works on paper and scultpure/installation as well as a Leeway Award for Excellence and a Pew Fellowship in the Arts.
Astrid is represented by Gallery Joe in Philadelphia.
