Joshua Marsh

Appointed Faculty, Assistant Professor, Certificate/BFA/MFA/Continuing Ed

Joshua Marsh received an MFA in painting from Yale University in 1997, and a BFA from Washington University in Saint Louis in 1995. His work is currently represented by Jeff Bailey Gallery in New York, where he had a solo show in 2010. His paintings and drawings have been included within exhibitions at Geoffrey Young Gallery, Sue Scott Gallery, Kate Werble Gallery, Susan Inglett Gallery, CTRL Gallery in Houston, Texas, and the Pulse Miami Art Fair. His work has been reviewed in Art in America, the Brooklyn Rail, the Houston Chronicle, and Artlog, among others.

In addition to teaching at PAFA, he was resident faculty in 2010 and 2011 at the Yale University Summer School of Art in Norfolk, CT, and has taught with the graduate and undergraduate programs at Moore College of Art and Design.

Marsh is a Studio Critic and teaches Painting within the BFA and Certificate programs, and teaches Drawing Media within the MFA program. He also teaches courses within the Continuing Education program.
