  • Haunting Narratives: Detours from Philadelphia Realism, 1935 to the Present

    The Woodmere Art Museum is set to exhibit a show entitled, "Haunting Narratives: Detours from Philadelphia Realism, 1935 to the Present," featuring PAFA alumni and current faculty members Pat Traub, Anthony Ciambella, Murray Dessner, Renee Foulks, Scott Noel, and Stuart Shils.

  • Kevin Richards: A Life on the Ocean Wave

    Kevin Richards, an Appointed Assistant Professor in the Certificate/BFA and Graduate Programs has a new solo exhibition entitled, "A Life on the Ocean Wave."

  • Katherine Bradord: Recent Work

    Katherine Bradford, a Visiting Critic in the Graduate Program has a new exhibition of recent work at Edward Thorp Gallery in Chelsea.

    The exhibition will be on display from April 19 - May 26

  • Peter Van Dyck: five new paintings

    Peter Van Dyck, an Appointed Assistant Professor is exhibiting in a two person show at Artist's House entitled "five new paintings".

  • Carolyn Pyfrom: five new paintings

    Carolyn Pyfrom, an adjunct instructor in the Certificate/BFA program is exhibiting in a two person show at Artist House entitled "five new paintings".

  • Stuart Shils: The Residue of Memory

    Stuart Shils, a Visiting Critic in the Certificate/BFA program, is exhibiting a solo show entitled The Residue of Memory.  The show will be featured at Steven Harvey Fine Art Projects.

    The exhibition will run from April 26 - May 27

  • Jan Baltzell: New Work

    Jan Baltzell, an Appointed Full Professor teaching in the Certificate/BFA, Post-Bacc, and MFA programs is exhibiting a new solo show at Schmidt/Dean Gallery.

    The exhibition will be on view from Apil 20 - May 19.

  • Dufala Brothers: "F"

    Billy and Steven Dufala, faculty within the Sculpture departement, are participating in their second solo exhibition at Fleisher Ollman Gallery. 

    The exhibition will be on view from April 5th - May 12th.

  • Scott Noel: Local Habitations and a Name

    Scott Noel, an Appointed Associate Professor who teaches in the Certificate/BFA and Graduate Programs has an exhibition entitled Local Habitations and a Name at Gross McCleaf Gallery.

    The exhibition runs from March 1 - 28.

  • Denise Green: Roses, Thorns, Stems

    Denise Green, a Visiting Critic in the Graduate program has a new solo exhibition entitled, "Roses, Thorns, Stems" at Andrew Baker Art Dealer in Melbourne, Australia.  The exhibition is on view from February 29 - March 31.  Denise is also lecturing and supporting the release of a new book, Denise Green, An Artist's Odyssey.

  • Martha Armstrong: The Japanese Robe

    Martha Armstrong, a Visiting Critic in the Graduate Program is exhibiting a new solo show entitled "The Japanese Robe".  The exhibition will run from March 1 - 25th at Oxbox Gallery in Northampton, MA.

  • Richard Torchia: The Harris Observatory

    The Center for Discovery (Monticello, New York), announces a special event for the opening of

    THE HARRIS OBSERVATORYa temporary project by Philadelphia-based artist Richard Torchia. This is the first of a series of projects developed for CENTERpieces, a cultural initiative of planned architectural interventions using vernacular structures.

  • Dreck Groove: New Works by Shelley Spector

    Philadelphia, PA - (February 2, 2012) The EKG Exhibition Space at University City Science Center is pleased to announce its newest exhibit Dreck Groove featuring new works by Shelley SpectorDreck Groove will be on view at EKG from February 17th through March 30th, 2012, with an opening reception on Friday, February 17th from 5pm to 8pm at 3600 Market Street.

  • Robert Roesch installs latest public project.

    Robert Roesch, Chair of the Sculpture Program and an Appointed Full Professor teaching in the Certificate/BFA program has completed a new sited sculpture entitled Transition. 

  • Al Gury: New Paintings

    Al Gury, Chair of the Painting Program and Appointed Full Professor in the Certificate/BFA program has a solo exhibition of new paintings at F.A.N. Gallery.

  • Murray Dessner - Exhibition at Rosenfeld Gallery

    Murray Dessner, an Appointed Faculty member teaching as a critic in the Certificate/BFA and Graduate Programs is exhibiting new works at the Rosenfeld Gallery

     

    Murray Dessner, a critic in both the MFA and Certificate/BFA programs, is exhbiting new works at Rosenfeld Gallery.  A review of Murray's show can be read here.
