I am Grace and I am from the city of Hangzhou, China.
Why did you choose PAFA?
PAFA has a very long history in fine arts in the US and has cultivated so many famous artists both in the past and recently. This is the traditional and most classical school in the US.
How has being in the US/Philadelphia inspired you and your work?
Philadelphia has inspired me a lot. It has a good art and cultural atmosphere which really attracted me.
What do you love about PAFA?
Portraits in studio is fantastic at PAFA. The instructors’ skills and views of painting are amazing.
One piece of advice for an international student at PAFA?
If you want to be an artist, you definitely need to be a student here, because the teachers here are so nice and also responsive to all international students.
