Certificate and BFA Early Decision
Early Decision is a non-binding option where applicants indicate that PAFA is their first-choice school.
Why apply Early Decision? It’s simple:
-
Early Decision applicants receive first consideration for merit scholarship support and priority for PAFA-affiliated housing.
-
Applying for Early Decision does not prevent you from applying to other schools, even as an Early Decision or Early Action candidate.
-
Early Decision applicants receive notification on their admissions decision prior to winter break.
Is Early Decision the right option for you?
If accepted, you will have the information you need to make an early decision—literally—whether to accept or decline fall admission to PAFA. Those intending to enroll at PAFA must place a non-refundable tuition deposit by early spring.
We encourage you to apply for the Regular Decision if:
-
you are uncertain that PAFA is your first choice school
-
financial aid is a major factor in your future plans.
