Photography has been a tool of the visual artist since its invention in the 19^th century. Learn strategies to translate your photographs into unique drawings and paintings. Topics include gridding, cropping and enlarging images; use of the photocopier and making mixed media and color studies. Includes a history of the preparatory process of the artist.
