Gilbert Lewis

Adjunct Faculty, Continuing Ed

Gilbert Lewis has a Master's degree in Creative Art and Therapy from Hahnemann University, a BFA from the University of the Arts and a Certificate in Painting from PAFA. He worked for many years as an art therapist and taught in PAFA’s Certificate Program. He possesses a deep respect and love for painting and the primacy of color and has an extensive knowledge of materials and techniques.

His work is included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rutgers University, Aramark Services, Wilmington Trust and the Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Foundation in New York City. He is represented by Riverbank Arts in Stockton, NJ. 

Lewis teaches oil painting in the PAFA Continuing Education program.
