Summer Academy for Teachers

The Summer Academy for Teachers provides educators with a great opportunity to advance their personal work and refresh their teaching and artwork with fresh ideas amidst a new community of artists and teachers. Program offerings include CE studio activities, museum visits, lectures and field trips. 

Earn Act 48 and NJ Dept of Ed Professional Development Credit, Undergraduate and Graduate credit.

Summer Academy for Teachers:  The Painted Narrative

PAFA Museum Education and Continuing Education present a one-week session blending the fine arts, art history, and museum education techniques appropriate for all K-12 educators.

The teaching philosophy at PAFA, emphasizing a foundation in observational drawing and technical knowledge, has stood the test of time. Learn to apply the PAFA teaching model to the contemporary high school setting.
