The Thomas Eakins Emerging Artist Scholarship application deadline has passed. Summer Academy applications are still being accepted for full tuition.
Thomas Eakins Emerging Artist Scholarships are merit-based scholarships offering a discount on Summer Academy tuition. Scholarships are competitive and range up to 25% of Summer Academy tuition (award amounts vary). Residential services are not covered through scholarship awards.

Applicants who wish to be considered for a Thomas Eakins Emerging Artist Scholarship must apply by April 2.

All students submitting complete application requirements (registration form, portfolio and recommendation letter) by this date will be automatically included for scholarship consideration. No additional application form or materials necessary.

Scholarships are awarded based on a review of the required portfolio and art teacher recommendation.

Scholarship results will be announced after April 9 via mailed letter. Students who have not already submitted the non-refundable $600 deposit will be asked to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship and participation in the program by submitting this deposit payment no later than May 2. The scholarship award will be deducted from the tuition balance due June 1.
The Next Step Scholarship
Top-scoring Summer Academy scholarship winners who apply and are accepted to PAFA's Certificate or BFA Programs for Fall 2013 will automatically be considered for The Next Step Scholarship. Contact the Office of Admissions at admissions@pafa.edu or 215-972-7625 for more details.
